a query
While this may seem like a trivial matter to most, to all those breakfast food eaters, it holds a great deal of importance. It is the issue of sacrificing the satisfying crunch of delicious cereals for the sake of not tearing up the roof of one's mouth. While I am quite the proponent of children's lightly sweetened multi-grain cereals, I can't help but wince at the mere thought of a ripped up, bloody palate. This is not to discredit other cereals that have a propensity to lose their crunch more rapidly, such as plain Cheerios, or Special K, both of which are wonderfully delicious. But for those times that you just crave a lightly sweetened crunch, mixed with a splash of cold milk, what do you do? Do you push through and hope that the satisfaction overshadows the pain, or do you succumb to your low tolerance of pain and nosh on the sogginess that is your bowl of healthy flakes? Or do you just go for the plate of waffles?
